CutBank Literary Journal has an annual feature called “All Accounts and Mixtures,” which is devoted to showcasing writing from queer authors. This year they’ve been kind enough to include a short story I wrote called “Let’s Talk About the Forest.” I am very excited about this!
It’s a story that’s pretty near and dear to me. I almost added a bunch of backstory here about what inspired it, but meh. It’s a work of fiction and should be read as such. Anyway, I am just flattered as hell to be included in this collection. I’ve read the other poems and stories that have been posted so far, and they are excellent. Hooray!
